TRANSMISSIONS
Featuring an Allison 6 speed true automatic transmission. The driveline offers an enviable balance of fuel efficiency and engine performance.
ENGINE
Featuring a A05 turbo five litre engine that delivers improved performance and operational efficiency, superior torque and reduced fuel consumption. Producing up to 260hp and 882Nm torque, fitted with a true engine and exhaust brake, for exceptional downhill control.
EMISSIONS
It’s the cleanest Japanese medium‑duty truck in Australia, meeting Japan’s stringent pPNLT emissions standards (Equivalent to Euro 6). The secret is the exhaust gas after‑treatment unit which contains a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system and Diesel Particulate Reduction (DPR) system.
DRIVER INSTRUMENT PANEL
With improved visibility and functionality the 7” LCD Multi Information Display (MID) allows the driver to view safety performance, driving economy, vehicle performance, maintenance and vehicle system settings. Including the ECO Tree system that provides continuous feedback on driver efficiency.
MULTIMEDIA UNIT
10.1" ultra high‑definition, capacitive touch screen is capable of connecting up to 6 multi‑position cameras and supports AM/FM / DAB+ radio, and Wi‑Fi. Includes the latest version of Bluetooth connectivity enhancing call handling, profile pictures and improved speech to text functionality. The intuitive Multimedia Unit has been designed to integrate into the dash, with a particular focus on driver and vehicle ergonomics.
REVERSE CAMERA
Equipped with a reverse camera that includes both night vision capability plus a microphone to assist drivers when manoeuvring. Drivers will also enjoy almost 360 degree vision for improved safety when reversing, loading and unloading.
DRIVER SEAT
Available for the first time, the next generation ISRI 6860 NTS2 driver’s seat offers the latest in comfort and adjustability. Along with an assortment of lumber support adjustments, it also features an audible seatbelt reminder and a SRS seatbelt pre‑tensioner.
ACCESSIBILITY
It’s never been easier to get in and out with a seat position offering 48mm more adjustment. The truck has ample adjustability with the Tilt and telescopic steering wheel. Plus, generous‑sized door openings and conveniently placed cab grab handles providing 3 point contact.
LAYOUT
The layout offers more comfort and convenience than ever before. Features include a 12V accessory and USB charging socket, improved storage and LED interior lighting. Plus, steering wheel switches to allow operation of the MID and cruise control.

Engine
The Hino J08E delivers increased output, greater cooling, improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The J08 engine is rated to 280hp (206kW) at 2500 RPM and 883Nm of maximum torque delivered at 1500 RPM.

The most comprehensive active safety package of any Japanese truck in the medium duty truck category in an Australian‑first for this class, Vehicle Stability Control is now fitted as standard across the new Wide Cab range. Transmission
All 500 Series Wide Cab models feature a six speed Allison automatic transmissions with a push button shift selector. Going automatic means no torque interruptions between gear shifts, smooth driveability, and lower whole of life costs. †Active safety systems are an aid to assist the driver and have performance limitations.
